Johana Za

Johana Za

NANTO City

This is a multi-purpose hall built with the purpose of revitalizing the Johana area through the passing down of traditional performing arts and the creation of modern culture. Feel the grand and solemn atmosphere of the Johana Hikiyama Festival, as well as the rustic atmosphere of the Johana Mugiya Festival through the regular performances of the folk songs, iori-uta and mugiya-bushi, held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. After the performances, there is also a dance lesson taught by the performers, where all guests can learn and experience the mugiya-odori dance for themselves.
